When you listen to music or watch a movie, the audio envelops you completely to give you a three-dimensional experience. Together, the gyroscopes and accelerometers of the AirPods detect your head movements, so you feel like you're always center stage.¹

Adaptive equalization
The music is automatically adjusted to the shape of your ear. The inward-facing microphones detect what you hear, then calibrate the low and medium frequencies to return all the details of each song.

Even more battery
Compared to the second generation model, these AirPods give you an extra hour of battery life: up to 6 hours of listening² and up to 4 hours of talk time. ⁴ An advanced sensor detects skin contact to turn the AirPods on and off at the right time and save battery. With just 5 minutes of charge you have about an hour of listening⁶ or talk time. ⁷ The MagSafe Charging Case gives you over 30 hours of battery life, and is compatible with MagSafe and wireless chargers.

They resist water and sweat
The AirPods and MagSafe charging case have IPX4-rated water resistance, so you can use them even in the rain and during the most intense workouts. ³

Setting them up is very easy: you take them out of the case and they are ready. They instantly switch from one Apple device to another, and understand when you're wearing them thanks to sensors that distinguish the skin from other surfaces. You can have Siri read incoming notifications to you, and with audio sharing two people can hear the same thing on two pairs of AirPods, to enjoy movies and music together.
